Road Trip Ready Checks and post off road 4wd service and/or inspections
We not only can carry out a pre–off road (Road Trip Ready Check) on your 4wd, but also offer post–off road 4wd inspections for our customers.
You made sure your 4wd had a full service and inspection before you left for your trip. You’ve navigated muddy creek beds, pot holes and scrub. Now you’ve just returned from a long and dusty outback adventure. You’re bush wacked and buggered and can’t see your beloved 4wd for the red dust and dirt. Plus there is something rattling under the car.
We will not service your car (unless required) but will check the following:
- Check ALL driveline oils, lubricants, fluids and refill or top up as required.
- Check hoses/fuel line, engine mounts, radiator and expansion tank for correct coolant levels.
- Check all lights external are working and tyres for damage, wear and correct pressures.
- Raise the vehicle on the hoist and do a visual inspection of the under tray. We will look for any loose, cracked or missing parts and report. This includes a visual inspection only of brakes, suspension and wheel bearings and exhaust.
- If requested, we can carry out under tray, engine and transmission wash to remove red dirt/dust/mud from inside engine bay and wheel arches/wells (Additional charge).
